How to Trust God When the Dream Feels Big

Sometimes the real battle is not the dream itself.
It is what we are saying in our hearts about the dream.
Verse of the Week
âIf you should say in your heart, âThese nations are greater than I; how can I dispossess them?â â you shall not be afraid of themâŚâ
â Deuteronomy 7:17â18
God had already promised the Israelites the land. He had already prepared the way. He had already decided what was theirs.
But if they stood there saying, These people are greater than us. We canât do this, then how could He work through them?
Not because He lacked power but because they were limiting Him with their own unbelief.
And we can do exactly the same with our dreams.
God may have put something in your heart. A calling. A business. A ministry. A book. A new direction. A step of obedience that keeps coming back to you.
But if you keep saying, I canât do that. I havenât got what it takes. Other people are better than me, you are agreeing with fear instead of faith.
And faith is what gives you the courage to move.
God works through people who believe Him enough to act.
Now, you might not feel confident every second and you definitely wonât know the whole route.
But you do need to stop treating your own doubts as more reliable than His Word.
If He has called you, He has equipped you. If He has shown you the land, He knows how to bring you into it.
And the truth is, just like the Israelites, itâs already yours.
It's up to you now to walk into it.
Until next week,
Have a blessed day and keep shining!â¨
