Expecting God’s Goodness in Every Season
There's something wonderful about entering a new season of life.
Perhaps you've recently married, moved into a new home, started a new job or stepped into an opportunity you've been praying about for some time.
There's a sense of excitement as you begin to see things coming together and discover what God has planned for you.
One of the Scriptures I've been meditating on this year is Psalm 65:11.
Verse of the Week
‘You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.’ — Psalm 65:11 (NKJV)

What a wonderful picture of God's generosity!
David describes a year crowned with God's goodness and paths overflowing with abundance. In the surrounding verses, he speaks about God watering the earth, enriching it and bringing forth a plentiful harvest.
As we approach the final months of the year, this is a wonderful Scripture to meditate on. God is able to bring good things into our lives at any time, and there is still plenty of opportunity for Him to do wonderful things before the year ends.
Maybe you're already seeing answers to prayer. Doors are opening, plans are coming together and you're enjoying a season of blessing. Rejoice in what God is doing and look forward with expectation to what lies ahead.
Or perhaps you're still believing God for something. Be encouraged to keep your faith firmly in His Word. Continue to pray, follow His leading and take the steps of faith that are before you.
I want to encourage you to approach the days ahead with a confident expectation of God's goodness. Thank Him for what He's already done, continue to trust Him with your plans and remain sensitive to Him leading you.
What are you expecting God to do in the months ahead?
Until next week,
Have a blessed day and keep shining!
