Have you ever looked at part of your life and thought, ‘I really didn’t expect it to go this way'?
Maybe a business failed. A relationship broke down. A dream took longer than expected.
Or life just unfolded differently to how you imagined.
Disappointment can make you stare so long at the door that closed that you miss the new thing the Lord is leading you into.
But God has not lost sight of you.

And He delights in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.’

The Lord promises that when the storms and the trials come, you will not be defeated because He is holding you by the hand.
He knows what this season has felt like for you and He is invested in every part of your life.
He delights in your way.
A disappointment doesn't mean you're off course.
You may have stumbled but He is still guiding you – your story is not over.
