Courage is a Choice
Have you ever noticed that the people we admire most in the Bible all had one thing in common?
They chose courage.
Moses chose to stand before Pharaoh.
Esther chose to approach the king.
David chose to face Goliath.
Mary chose to say yes to Godās plan for her life.
None of them knew how their story would end. None of them were guaranteed an easy path. But they made a decision: they would trust God more than their fear.
The same choice faces us today.
Perhaps God isnāt asking you to stand before a king or face a giant.
Perhaps Heās asking you to step out of the shadows.
To use your voice.
To apply for the role.
To start the business.
To lead the Bible study.
To have the difficult conversation.
To take the first step towards the dream Heās placed in your heart.
Fear will always give us reasons to stay where we are.
Faith reminds us that God goes with us.

Verse of the Week
āBe strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.ā
āDeut. 31:6
God never promised that courage would mean the absence of fear.
He promised His presence.
Maybe thatās why He so often said, āDo not fear.ā It wasnāt because there was nothing to be afraid of. It was because He would be with them through whatever lay ahead.
This week, donāt wait until you feel brave.
Choose courage.
Choose to trust God.
And choose to take one step out of the shadows.
Until next week,
Have a blessed day and keep shining!
